Lynch syndrome predisposes an individual to several cancers- Including Colorectal, endometrial, ovarian, brain, pancreas, bladder, ureter and kidney .

Lynch syndrome is caused  by mutations in the genes encoding the proteins of
DNA mismatch repair (MMR) system.

Lynch Syndrome is the most common inherited cancer
predisposition syndrome. One study found the prevalence to be 1 in 278.

The syndrome has autosomal dominant inheritance
